Automatic Curtain Control Systems

All our Motorised Tracks corded Kirsch regular or heavy duty steel tracks are made to measure on site and fitted by experts.

The Powercord automatic curtain drive system has been in production for over 40 years and is well known to trade and domestic users as the most well built and best performer in its class.

Choose the modules required to cover the requirements of the curtain type to be operated, plug-in and use. Included in the enhancements to the range are CE and RoHS compliance to European standards.

The Powercord system is based around two robust and powerful drive motors featuring automatic end of travel switch off, patented non-slip drive head and a complete range of switch panels and timers which can be used with or without infra-red remote control. Drive motor type P-101 is for small curtains in domestic situations and the P-201 is for larger domestic installations including bay windows. When used in junction with any good quality continuously corded track, the Powercord system provides reliable and smooth operation of curtains in any installation.

Mounted discretely behind the curtain, Powercord motors are easy to install to existing or new track systems. Both motors and switch panel's are ‘handed’ to allow minimum visibility of the motor and cable from the switch panel by ‘hiding’ them behind the curtain.

Our standard configuration is right hand with left hand available to special order.

After installing the track, mount the drive motor directly under the track cord (detailed installation information is supplied with your system) lace up to the unique drive head, plug-in your control panel and the system is ready for operation. All of the Powercord control panels type ’S’ and ‘T’ (excluding T-301 which is infra-red) simply plug-in, no need for hard wiring. Users wishing to use their own controls, the E-101 or E-201 allow hard wiring of switches such as those required by disabled persons, security systems and existing installations.
